Week 4

Week 4 (1 ENTIRE MONTH) of being a content creator! Here’s everything I’ve learned during week 4:

1. Treat yourself as your own client. The to-do list is always growing and all of it feels important. If this was an office job, what are the non-negotiable for the day? What are the absolute must be done today items? Sometimes it’s easier to pour into someone else’s needs because you can clearly see what they need.

2. Get out of the house. I use to feel like I had to rush home after work to do something in the house. I have a home account, so I needed to be home! Except now, I’m home all the time. Getting out of the house to go to the gym, on a walk, errands, etc. can help give my brain a break and an opportunity to come back with fresh ideas.

3. Do the hard work first. On your list of non-negotiable items, what is the hardest one? Do that one first. If everything else is easy, the day can drag out taking your time on the little easy things. I love crossing things off the to-do list but if the one most important item wasn’t done because it was the hardest... that one keeps me up at night, not the satisfaction of all the easy tasks being done.

I cannot believe we are entering week 5! It’s easy to feel defeated knowing I haven’t made the progress with the accounts how I had dreamed. HOWEVER, I have been doing BTS work on things that are less glamorous but set us up for success so that all my accounts have the resources they need going forward. Let’s have an awesome week everyone!
